Rashmika has come a long way in the film industry across several languages in supersonic jet speed in the short time since her arrival. Seen last in the Telugu film Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu opposite Sharwanand, she is currently working with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal in Hindi and is awaiting for Mission Majnu to come out as it is reportedly eyeing a September release. Apart from Bollywood ventures, Rashmika will be appearing in a crucial role in Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan's Telugu film, Sita Ramam, opening on August 5, and is expected to wrap 2022 by reprising her role as Srivalli opposite Allu Arjun in the highly-anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to last year's highest-grosser in the country, Pushpa: The Rise. The actress will also be returning to Tamil cinema for her second film after Karthi’s Sulthan in 2021 and this time opposite 'Thalapathy' Vijay in Varisu, which has been announced to hit screens as a grand Pongal 2023 release.
