'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 30 years in Hindi cinema on Saturday, June 25, by unveiling the first look of his upcoming film, Pathaan, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Siddharth Anand. The upcoming action film will see the Bollywood superstar sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham and is scheduled to open in theatres worldwide on January 25, 2023. Apart from Pathaan, SRK is currently working on Jawan with blockbuster Tamil director Atlee and has also announced a film titled Dunki with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, which will also star Taapsee Pannu.

Celebrating his 30 years in cinema, Shah Rukh Khan interacted with fans in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Instagram Live and spoke about Jawan, and his working experience with Atlee, while also confirming for the first time that leading South Indian actress 'Lady Superstar' Nayanathara is also a part of the mass action thriller. He said, "There's not much I can tell about Jawan except for the fact that as an actor I'm having a great time. There's Nayanthara ji in it and Atlee, the director. It's a different kind of film. Everybody has seen Atlee sir's films and he makes outstandingly mass-oriented films. Again, a kind of genre I've never done. So, I wanted to try my hand at it and I think me and Atlee have a good chemistry. I bring in some, he brings in some. And, hopefully, whatever we've done on Jawan is really interesting. It's very thrilling and exciting." Watch SRK from his Insta Live in the video below:

Jawan has tremendous expectations and hype surrounding it and the buzz is clearly sky-high for the film, which incidentally is the debut of Atlee, Nayanthara and composer Anirudh Ravichander in Bollywood. Billed to be an "explosive entertainer" by Shah Rukh Khan himself, the film produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner is set to release worldwide on June 2, 2023, and will be a pan-Indian venture coming out in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
