Blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Vignesh Shivan is celebrating his birthday today and wishes are pouring in from all quarters. Among those who wished him was also his Tamil film industry peer director-actor Pradeep Ranganathan of Comali (2019) and Love Today (2022) fame, who has now posted a video on Instagram on the auspicious occasion of Vinayagar Chathurthi where the duo are seeing having a fun banter. In the video, Pradeep Ranganathan surprises Vignesh Shivan by presenting date palms as his birthday gift hinting at a project that they're working on together.

Pradeep Ranganathan had also posted pictures of himself with Vignesh Shivan extending his birthday wishes and sharing a heartwarming message. Sharing their photos, Pradeep Ranganathan wished Vignesh Shivan writing, "Happy Birthday @wikkiofficial brother ❤️ Wish you a superb and peaceful year ahead :) Im learning a lot of things from you , opening up a lot of things , glad i met you this year … and many more years ahead … and your one of the sweetest ive ever met . Although there has been no word as yet, the Vignesh Shivan and Pradeep Ranganathan film has been in the news for quite some time now and an official announcement on the project is still awaited. The duo were earlier seen at this year's Cannes Film Festival once again once again leading to a lot of chatter among the fans about a possible collaboration for a project. The venture is also said to include music to be composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander and all eyes are now on the official announcement, which can be expected to be made soon. There has been a massive buzz surrounding the said project for a while now as it is going to be Vignesh Shivan's next film after his Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal (2022) considering he had to move away from Ajith Kumar's film, while Pradeep Ranganathan will be seen on the screen after the mega success of his Love Today last year.
