Prabhu Deva has been keeping himself busy as a director, while also returning to acting full-time and was recently announced to be leading the star cast in an upcoming venture being directed by Manjapai and Kadamban fame Raghavan. Being produced by Ramesh Pillai and jointly produced by R. Abhishek, R. Adhithya and R. Siddarth under the  Abhishek Films banner, the upcoming film featuring music by D. Imman and also starring actress Remya Nambeesan as the female lead has now roped popular choreographer Sridhar for a western song.

Sridhar and Prabhu Deva are collaborating once again after the duo last teamed up for the chart-buster 'Chinna Machan' song in the 2019 film, Charlie Chaplin 2. The peppy folk 'Chinna Machan' song turned out to be a smash success, with Sridhar's choreography being transitioned on the big screen by the ever skillful Prabhu Deva, with Nikki Galrani as well acing her steps. The Western number in the upcoming Prabhu Deva-Remya Nambeesan starrer featuring lyrics penned by Yugabharathi was shot recently and is expected to be one of the highlights of the flick.

Speaking about the song, Sridhar says, "It is always an enriching experience to work with Prabhudeva. After the stupendous success of 'Chinna Machan...', I have collaborated with him once again. This is a stylish Western number and it has come out very well. Everyone in the team including the director and Prabhudeva are happy." The Prabhu Deva-Remya Nambeesan film recently kicked off production with a formal pooja and includes a talented technical team featuring cinematographer Selvakumar S. K. who impressed earlier in Maanagaram, Gypsy and Mehandi Circus

Apart from the untitled film, Prabhu Deva is also attached to a number of projects in the lead role among which include Pon Manickavel, Yung Mung Sung, Bagheera and Theal. He also recently wrapped up his next big directorial, the Bollywood film Radhe, starring Salman Khan, which has been announced to come out in theatres worldwide this year as an Eid treat. Radhe is incidentally the third time Prabhu Deva has directed Salman Khan after the blockbuster box office successes of Wanted (Pokkiri remake) and Dabangg 3. As a director, Radhe is Prabhu Deva's 15th film as a filmmaker and expectations are sky-high for it to become a massive blockbuster.
