Thiruchitrambalam is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Mithran Jawahar. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures and stars Dhanush in the titular role with Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja, and Prakash Raj in prominent roles. The film's music and the score has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by Om Prakash and editing done by Prasanna GK.

During a recent interview, Nithya Menen talks about the film and lets us in on the many aspects of the film. She says that Thiruchitrambalam is a very beautiful story. She also says Dhanush usually has a zone, which is being a part of  a lower-middle-class environment which he understands very well. She further goes on to say that since she is not very close to that zone,  it is very different for her and hence she has to observe Dhanush a lot since it is all very new for her. She also says that she had to get used to and learn they way they talk and act accordingly since their way with language is very different and not something that she is familiar with.

She also says that Thiruchitrambalam is a family-oriented film that follows men coming from 3 different generations. Bharathiraja will be playing the role of the grandfather, with Prakash Raj taking on the role of the father and finally Dhanush playing the son. She says it is a very beautiful, simple, and soft film. When asked about the songs that are trending everywhere, Nithya Menen reveals that the snippets that we have seen in the songs are nothing as the actual songs are even cuter, more organic and has a lot more chemistry involved.

Thiruchitramabalam has been scheduled for a theatrical release on 18 August 2022.
