Yet another promo has been released by the makers of Laal Singh Chaddha. This newly released 15 second promo gives us a look into the Kargil war that takes place in the film. The clip is intense and is full of explosions, assault rifles and grenades going off and RPG being shot. We also see Aamir Khan's Laal and Naga Chaitanya's Balaraju Bodi in the middle of all this as they try and survive this disastrous situation.
By the end of the promo we see Laal staring at a motionless hand and the scene cuts to Laal carrying someone and running downhill. We can only assume it is Balaraju given Laal's saddened face. This could also very well be Laal since in the original version of the film, that is what happens during the Vietnam war - Forrest carrying a deeply wounded Bubba.
Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. Produced under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios, it is a remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name. The film stars Aamir Khan as the eponymous character alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya who will be making his big Bollywood debut with this film.
Laal Singh Chaddha has been scheduled to release theatrically released on 11 August 2022, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan and the Indian Independence Day.
