Aadujeevitham is a highly anticipated upcoming Malayalam film that is both written and directed by Blessy. It is an adaption of the novel of the same name, Aadujeevitham by Benyamin. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Amala Paul, Rik Aby and Talib Mohammad. In the technical side of things, A. Sreekar Prasad has been roped in as the film's editor, K. U. Mohanan for the cinematography, while the original score and soundtrack are composed being composed by the world renowned Indian music director A.R. Rahman with Resul Pookutty as the sound designer. The film follows Najeeb played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, an Indian immigrant worker in Saudi Arabia.

The film is slowly but steadily nearing the final stages of its making. Oscar award winning musician A.R. Rahman is making his big comeback to Malayalam cinema after a very long gap with Aadujeevitham. The legendary musician recently visited Prithviraj Sukumaran and the team at the location of the project in Wadi Rum, Jordan. Prithviraj took to his official Twitter handle to share a few special pictures from the set of movie. Sharing a picture with music director A. R. Rahman on the sets of the movie, he also wrote a caption saying, "Look who came all the way to Wadi Rum, Jordan to motivate the team! Thank you @arrahman sir for making us feel so special! #Aadujeevitham ❤️".

In previous interviews, Prithviraj had mentioned that Rahman is very excited about Aadujeevitham and expressed his desire to visit the location of the Blessy directorial. Even though the musician had even promised the team that he would visit the location, he could not make it in the last two schedules due to the pandemic restrictions. Prithviraj left Kerala on March 31 to resume shooting of the movie. It was hinted back then that he would travel to Algeria and to Jordan from there. The first phase of the movie’s shooting was completed in Jordan in 2020, but the crew was trapped in the country for a while due to the Covid pandemic predicament.
