Ever since the events of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel has been focusing on other superheroes both in films and TV shows. After touching upon some of the iconic characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with spinoff shows like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wanda Vision, Loki, and Hawkeye, the box office juggernaut studio is all set to step outside the box and come in with a bang. Marvel's next show, Moon Knight, is scheduled to debut on Disney+Hotstar on March 30, 2022, and will run for six episodes, concluding on May 4, 2022. It will be part of Phase Four in the MCU.

A new Moon Knight featurette has been released by Marvel Entertainment presenting new visuals from the upcoming show. It also includes a lot of insights from the showrunners and actors themselves about the psychological horror television miniseries and the characters they are portraying. Oscar Isaac, who plays Steven Grant / Marc Spector / Moon Knight, says the show is unpredictable and is a real legitimate character study on the subject, while also wanting to take the mental health aspect very seriously. Marvel Studios' Executive Producer Kevin Feige says, "Moon Knight is a spectacular character. He's got an incredibly unique visual look". Moon Knight is being billed to be Fight Club on steroids and fans of the upcoming show can only imagine how great it is going to be.

Moon Knight is created by Jeremy Slater and is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The show will star Oscar Isaac plays mercenary suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID), with Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy forming the core cast. Moon Knight will focus on Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who starts investigating his strange experiences after becoming plagued with blackouts and memories of another life.
