Mohanlal’s historical epic film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is one of the most anticipated films of this year that has been made on a mammoth budget. Marakkar is said to be the costliest film ever made in Malayalam cinema. This pan-Indian biggie will be dubbed and released in Tamil as Maraikkayar: Arabikadalin Singam and it will have a grand release through the banner of Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on March 26. Marakkar has always excited the fans solely for the exciting star cast which includes the likes of Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Suniel Shetty, Arjun Sarja, Prabhu, Siddique, Ashok Selvan, Suhasini Maniratnam, Innocent, Nedumudi Venu and others.


Kalyani Priyadarshan and Pranav Mohanlal will be seen in guest roles. Directed by veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, Marakkar has cinematography by Tirru and songs composed by Ronnie Raphael. The background music for the film is composed by three people, Rahul Raj, Ankit Suri and Lyell Evans Roeder. The much awaited trailer of this film has now been released and it has increased the expectations among the fans. The massive production scale of the film is evident through the visuals and it looks like the audience are in for a visual treat.

We see a glimpse of the war sequence through this trailer and it has been shot well. The film is set in the 16th century and the makers have carefully recreated the period portions with conviction. Mohanlal looks super majestic and he is going to take the film forward with his striking screen presence.
