Mankatha Teaser Trailer: Now in Theatres
It's here! The first peek into Ajith's 50th movie Mankatha. Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Cloud Nine Movies, Mankatha is said to be a multi-starrer, with Ajith at the lead. While Venkat Prabhu promises the movie will have his typical vein of impromptu humour and lots of action, the teaser trailer is purely suggestive, giving nothing away.
Sporting a short beard and a pair of glasses, our man is seated in a dark room staring hard at a gun. A sinister voice asks him what's happening and Ajith turns around and says in his powerful tone, “Mankatha da!” And of course, there's a tag line to the movie. If Goa was a 'Venkat Prabhu Holiday', obviously this one is 'A Venkat Prabhu Game'!
It's quite a teaser indeed. It's got a very vintage look, like he promised and Ajith looks all brazen and handsome [no surpirses there!]. All we know is there's a gun and if someone's not shot already, once Ajith's done scheming, someone is gonna get shot! Or maybe that's a little bit too much reading inbetween the lines! Whatever be the case, we get the feeling this one's going to be the blockbuster hit every Thala fan is dying for. As Venkat Prabhu said in his interview, “Let's get ready to play Mankatha!”
