Makante Achan on Friday
After a gap of nearly thirty years when Malayalam's evergreen hero Prem Nazir and his son Shanawaz teamed up together, another father and son (Sreenivasan and Vineeth Sreenivasan) are coming together in Makante Achan, a light-hearted comedy produced by Seven Arts and directed by M. Vinu, who has madeBalettan, Pallavoor Devanarayanan and Vesham. Makante Achan is to release tomorrow (Friday).
Makante Achan, said to be a typical Sreenivasan film set in a lower middle class family, revolves around a family consisting of an upright honestVillage Officer Viswanathan (Sreenivasan), wife Hema (Suhasini) and their only son Manu (Vineeth Sreenivasan).
After a long time, veteran actresses Suhasini and Nadiya Moidu make a comeback to Malayalam with this film, which also has Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar and Salimkumar in major roles. Another highlight of the film is that superstar Suresh Gopi will appear in a cameo role towards the climax. Jagathy plays a fake sanyasi who runs an ashram. The camera is handled by Manoj Pilllai. Story, script and dialogues are by Samjad Narayanan. Lyrics are by Anil Panachooraan and music by M. Jayachandran.
