The much-awaited announcement on Mahesh Babu's next film has been made - Check Out!

Telugu Super Star Mahesh Babu was last seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata which emerged successful at the box office despite its mixed reviews from the audiences. The star actor will be teaming up with blockbuster filmmaker Trivikram for his next project which is tentatively called SSMB 28 and the fans have pinned high hopes on this movie. SSMB 28 will feature Pooja Hegde as the female lead and this will be her first outing with Mahesh Babu. Earlier today (July 9), the makers made a big announcement revealing the shooting updates regarding the project and the update has set the fans in excitement.

The makers revealed that the pre production works have begun in full swing and the shoot is all set to begin from August 2022. The film has now been planned to hit the screens during the summer of 2023 and the exact release date will be announced following the commencement of shoot. This shooting update was made by the makers through an official tweet that read, "The Evergreen Combo of Super Star @urstrulyMahesh & our Darling Director #Trivikram is back to REIGN! 🔥 The most eagerly awaited #SSMB28 pre-production has started on EPIC proportions! Shoot starts This Aug ✨ Be Ready for a MASSive Blast at the Screens ~ Summer 2023!".
Director Trivikram;s last outing, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo turned out to be a humongous hit and the star filmmaker will be looking forward to continuing the success streak with SSMB 28 as well. Interestingly, he has worked with Mahesh Babu already in two films - Athadu and Khaleja and both the films have been successful at the box office. SS Thaman will be scoring music for SSMB 28, while the cinematography and editing roles have been assigned to PS Vinod and Naveen Nooli respectively. AS Prakash would be taking care of the art direction.
