One of the leading actors, 'Thalapathy' Vijay has made many heads turn as he honoured 10 and 12 standard public exam toppers in a special event today. He organised it through All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. The actor arrived in style at around 10:30 AM and first sat amidst the students and parents and interacted with them in the event. While he was there, a differently-abled student came and presented a gift to the actor. He immediately accepted it and unwrapped the gift. It looks to be a sketch of the actor. Videos that have surfaced on the internet show the actor asking the student if he did it and he nods. The Leo actor then interacted with the student for a long time.

This sweet gesture of the star actor Vijay to a differently abled person has become viral on social media. It is to be noted that the actor carried the photo frame with him to the stage while he was giving the speech. 12th students who received top three ranked in 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Toppers in 10th standard were honoured at the event that happened at RK Convention centre. He also distributed a certificate, honoured, and gave cash prize to the toppers. During the speech, the actor advised the students to also help those who failed the public exams.
There are widespread speculations that 'Thalapathy' Vijay is aiming for a political entry in the next state assembly election. During his speech, he also addressed the students as tomorrow’s voters, saying “You are the ones who will select the future leader” and asked them not to vote for money to talk to their parents to do the same too. It is to be noted the actor also catered food to need people on World Hunger Day recently though the All India Thalapathy Vijay Iyakkam.
