Keerthy Suresh has gone on to become a sensation across South India in less than half a decade having acted in a number of lucrative films, including alongside top superstars among whom include 'Thalapathy' Vijay, 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan, Vishal, Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan, Nani, Dulquer Salmaan to name a few. Having won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her power-packed performance in the Savitri biopic, Mahanati dubbed also in Tamil under the title Nadigaiyar Thilagam, Keerthy will next be seen in a number of notable films. 

On the occasion of Keerthy Suresh's birthday on Saturday, Mythri Movie Makers dropped the massive announcement that the actress has been cast as the female lead in Mahesh Babu's next action film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, under Geetha Govindam fame Parasuram Petla's direction. The announcement of Keerthy joining Mahesh Babu's new film has come after weeks of rumors and speculations about the same. Sarkaru Vaari Paata will also include Thaman S, who is on cloud nine after the sensational success of his music in Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, with the upcoming film jointly being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment banners. As of now, it is being reported that Sarkaru Vaari Paata's first leg of filming will take place in the US, with plans for the film to be released in theatres next year on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. Apart from the Mahesh Babu film, Keerthy, who has been spearheading women-centric films of late, will be seen next in Telugu in Miss India, Good Luck Sakhi opposite Aadhi Pinisetty and Rang De alongside Nithiin. She is also awaiting the release of Mohanlal's historical Malayalam war film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, while also currently filming for 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Annaatthe in Tamil, including being recently-announced for the film Saani Kaayidham opposite director Selvaraghavan, who will be making his acting debut.
