Pandiraj of Pasanga, Vamsam and Marina fame, is now onto his next venture, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga (KBKR). This movie stars Sivkarthikeyan and vimal as the male leads, while Regina and Bindhu Madhavi have been roped in to play the female leads! KBKR is being produced by Pasanga Productions and is being presented by P. Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
KBKR has been set in the backdrop of Trichy, but the usual places like Malaikkotai and Kaveri have not been shown, but outer places like Ponmalai and Ponmalaipatti have been focused on! This movie showcases the lives of four talented individuals, and how they resort to clever and sometimes not so lawful methods to reach their means. All this has been told with a heavy dose of humour! This movie is touted to be completely different from director Pandiraj's earlier 3 movies, and though the storyline is not completely new, the way it has been narrated is completely different, reveals a unit source! The source goes on to add that there are 2 characters for almost every role in the movie: 2 heroes, 2 heroines, 2 fathers, 2 mothers, 2 brothers and so forth!
Yuvanshankar Raja handles the music, while Marina cinematographer Vijay will be handling the camera for this movie too! The highlight of this movie is that director Pandiraj has made 200 local people act in it, and has also searched out and brought in some actors who acted in just 1 or 2 movies, and went back to their natives, quitting cinema!
