Karthick Naren's Naragasooran might have direct digital release?

The young filmmaker Karthick Naren took Kollywood by storm when he debuted in 2016 with the blockbuster hit Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D16). This thriller movie, which had Rahman in the lead, turned out to become one of the biggest hits of the year and immediately lifted Karthick into the spotlight. He next began work on his second directorial venture - Naragasooran, with Arvind Swamy, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sundeep Kishan, Shriya Saran and Aathmika in the lead. This movie was said to be the second part of a thriller trilogy and that it would also be along the lines of D16.

Naragasooran went on floors in September 2017 and was completed in the next couple of months. However, the movie has been waiting to see the light of the day, due to many different issues. Recently, there were speculations that this movie might be hitting the screens for this March but that too doesn't seem very likely. However, a recent Instagram story by Karthick Naren has given some fresh hopes for his fans! The Instagram story has a poster of Naragasooran with a question - "As a digital exclusive?" with "Yes" & "No" as options!

Most of Karthick Naren's followers seem to have chose "Yes" as it was leading the poll! Karthick's latest release was Mafia: Chapter 1, which had Arun Vijay, Prasanna & Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead. This movie had a lot of expectations riding on it but failed to live up to them at the Box Office. Meanwhile, Karthick Naren has already begun work on his next project - #D43! This movie, with Dhanush as the lead, is to be bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films and will have GV Prakash scoring the music.
