One film that has been generating massive buzz right from the moment of its announcement last year is the upcoming 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan venture, VIKRAM, being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. As production on the raw and intense action thriller has kicked off in Karaikudi, it has now been confirmed that popular Vijay TV serial actresses VJ Maheshwari and Myna Nandhini will be romantically linked to 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi in the film, who has been cast in a massive role. Earlier, it had been confirmed that Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 fame Shivani Narayanan too will be paired with Vijay Sethupathi in Vikram and the additions of VJ Maheswari and Myna Nandhini has only raised our expectations sky-high.

Both VJ Maheswari and Myna Nandhini have garnered a massive fan following over the years in the television industry. Starting with VJ Maheshwari, the actress has served as a host on several shows, including starring in hit Vijay TV serials like Puthu Kavithai and Thayumanavan, while also making appearances in a few films. As for Myna Nandhini, she has carved a niche for herself by starring in the smash hit Vijay TV serial Saravanan Meenatchi as Myna, with the character name since going on to become her identity, while also making an appearance in Sivakarthikeyan's blockbuster Namma Veettu Pillai and Tamannaah's web series, November Story. Over the years, VJ Maheswari and Myna Nandhini have become highly-popular names among the young and the elderly alike apart from their stint on television and enjoy a huge social media presence.

It is unknown at this point as to whether VJ Maheswari and Myna Nandhini along with Shivani Narayanan are appearing as Vijay Sethupathi's wives in Vikram or are only romantically involved, with their casting alongside the National Award-winning actor set to be an intriguing facet of the film. The trio landing roles in Kamal Haasan's Vikram will no doubt be a big breakthrough considering the film also stars leading Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil and Paava Kadhaigal fame Kalidas Jayaram in pivotal roles. Featuring music by 'Rockstar' Ravichander, Kamal Haasan's Vikram also includes Meyaadha Maan and Aadai director Rathna Kumar for the dialogues, cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, and the KGF fame stunt choreographer duo Anbariv for the action.
