Leading TV production company Endemol India, which is set to foray into film making, has bought the remake rights Vidya Balan's Kahaani and is planning to remake the film in Tamil and Telugu.
Known for its TV shows like 'Bigg Boss' and 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi', the production company will commence the remakes in September. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions will release in January 2013.
The company is currently in talks with some leading South Indian actors for the lead role in Kahaani remake. More details are awaited.
