Jayam Ravi will next be seen in Bhoomi which happens to be his landmark 25th film. Bhoomi is directed by Lakshman who has already worked with Ravi in Romeo Juliet and Bogan. The duo share a very good rapport and this film will mark their third collaboration. Produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar under the banner of Home Movie Makers, Bhoomi has music composed by D Imman. The first single from the film is all set to be released on September 10 for Ravi’s birthday and the fans are excitedly waiting to listen to it.

Ahead of the release, the makers have now released a short glimpse of the song and it has come as a surprise treat. The song which is called ‘Tamizhan Endru Sollada’ looks to be a potential chartbuster number and it has energetic orchestration. Imman has crooned this song and the promo sounds quite interesting. It is said that music director Anirudh Ravichander has also lent his voice for this song, but we will have to wait until the 10th of September to know about it. The newly released promo has created good expectations among the listeners and let us hope that the full song fulfills our expectations.

The film’s audio rights are acquired by Sony Music and the songs will be released through their label. This film will mark the Kollywood debut of actress Nidhhi Agerwal who plays the female lead. Bhoomi, as the title suggests, will deal with the problems faced by the farmers in today’s era that is dominated by the technological and multinational corporates. The film has cinematography by Dudley and editing by Ruben and John Abraham. There are wide speculations that Bhoomi will have a direct OTT release on a leading platform very soon, but the makers are yet to deny or confirm the same. We will have to wait for a few more weeks to know about the release plans of Bhoomi.

Considering the fact that it is Ravi’s 25th film, the fans want to watch the film in the theatres amidst celebration, but that can be assured only if the situation gets better. Apart from Ravi and Nidhhi Agerwal, the film also stars Sathish, Ronit Roy, Thambi Ramaiah, Radharavi, Saranya Ponvannan in important roles.
