Robo Shankar's daughter and Bigil fame actress Indraja Sankar was evicted from the recent weekend episode of Survivor Tamil show. Indraja was the second contestant to be evicted from the show after Srushti Dange and her elimination made the fans emotional. Though Indraja showed good promise, she was voted out by Gayathri Reddy, who was the leader of the tribe during the first week. Yesterday (September 28), Indraja Sankar took to her official Instagram page to share her first official statement on Survivor Tamil and incidentally, this is her first statement after eviction.

Indraja thanked Action King Arjun, the host of the show and other contestants for giving her a one-of-a-kind experience. The young talent also mentioned that the show helped her realise the importance of her family. Indraja's official statement read, "Thank you so much makkalee for ur love and support throughout the journey of survivor...without u I couldn't able to do this... A very big thanks to @zeetamizh Survivor team and crew fr gving this opportunity to explore myself... Thankyou so much @arjunsarjaa sir u guided me so well. I thank the co contestants from bottom of my heart...

Survivor Tamil is currently being aired on Zee Tamil channel daily at 9.30 PM and the show has opened to a fairly positive response from the Tamil audience.

The physically challenging tasks have especially gained wide attention among the audience. Among the 16 contestants who entered the show, 14 are still present in the competition and the list includes Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Besant Ravi, Amzath Khan, Nandha, Lucky Narayanan, Aishwarya, Saran Shakthi, Vikranth, Vijayalakshmi, Lady Kash, Ram C, Umapathy Ramaiah, Gayathri Reddy, and VJ Parvathy.
