Abhiyum Naanum fame Ganesh Venkatraman, who played meaty roles alongside top heroines like Trisha (Abhiyum Naanum and Aakasamantha) and Anushka (Damarukkam), will be actress Shriya's pair in upcoming Tamil-Kannada bilingual Chandra.
It is Ganesh's debut Kannada film. It deals with the life of a last generation princess (Shriya) and the love story has two heroes. Popular Kannada actor Prem is one of the heroes. Ganesh plays a US based NRI.
Ganesh said, "I am really excited about Chandra! When Roopa Iyer narrated the script, it was fascinating and I immediately gave my nod." Some of the portion of the film will be shot in America.
