The editor Sreekar Prasad gave an exclusive interview to Galatta Media. He shared some exciting details about some blockbuster films and revealed some interesting insights into what happened at the editing desk during the films. When asked how he deals with a star-studded cast like RRR, Ponniyin Selvan, Chekka Chevantha Vaanam, and Dil Chahta Hai and how he deals with fans' requests for screen presence of their favourite actor. The editor said “For that, we should know something about what happens in the theatre. For that, you should go and see the film. You can't be oblivious to the fact how they are enjoying the film, where they are rooting for whom and which actor they are rooting for. You should be aware if you are going to be a technician in the industry, better be an audience too with the sort of cinema you are making. That gives you a clear picture of what is that the audience today (want). 10 years back what it was, today what it is, It helps you grow."

"This is one, there are also certain things." continued the editor. "If there is a big hero, when they do a certain things, the audience would want to see it. For example, when I was young I used to see Rajini, so when he does some things on-screen you are enjoying it. In the same way, when Vijay or someone is doing something, you try to capitalise on that by showing him in such a way. If they do a stunt in a single shot and if we hold it, It gives you more thrill than cutting it in 8 shots. These things should play on your mind, when you are working with big stars. But, when you do realistic cinema with small stars you don't exaggerate some moments. In this situation, you can exaggerate anticipated responses." explained the editor Sreekar Prasad.
