Comedian turned hero Santhanam's Dikkiloona is gearing up for its grand premiere on September 10 on the ZEE5 Tamil OTT platform on the auspicious occasion of Vinayagar Chathurthi. Jointly produced by Rajesh Kotapadi's KJR Studios and Balloon director Sinish’s Soldiers Factory banners, the upcoming science-fiction comedy will see Santhanam in triple roles and was initially planned for a theatrical release. With Dikkiloona's premiere date announced and an interesting second trailer also unveiled a few days back, the makers have now released the much-awaited 'Per Vachaalum Vaikkaama' video song, which has Santhanam tapping his feet to the Ilaiyaraaja classic alongside female leads Anagha of Natpe Thunai fame and Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja heroine Shirin Kanchwala. 

'Per Vachaalum Vaikkaama' in Dikkiloona was composed by ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja and was first featured in 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Michael Madana Kama Rajan, which has since gone on to become a cult classic among film aficionados. The 1990 blockbuster comedy film directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and written by Kamal Haasan, with Crazy Mohan penning the dialogues incidentally featured the multi-talented actor in four roles and continues to be one of his most memorable and admired performances to date.

Dikkiloona is the directorial debut of Karthik Yogi, who earlier appeared in a supporting role in Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Maanagaram. Featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film's supporting cast includes former Indian cricket team cricketer Harbhajan Singh, followed by Yogi Babu, Anand Raj, Munish Kanth, Motta Rajendiran, Chitra Lakshmanan, the late Arun Alexander, Sha Rah and YouTuber Prashanth in pivotal roles.
