Dasara is an upcoming Telugu action drama film written and directed by debutant filmmaker Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. Set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani in Telangana, the film stars Nani and Keerthy Suresh in leading roles. Dasara is scheduled for a theatrical release on 30 March 2023.

The upcoming movie has been creating a buzz across various social media platforms. A new update on the film was released today and it is a biggie. This was announce by none other than Nani himself. The Natural Star took to his official Twitter handle to share the release date of the film's first single titled ‘Dhoom Dhaam Dhosthaan’ with a short video. He captioned the video saying, "It’s time 🔥 #DhoomDhaamDhosthaan This #Dasara ". 

As the title of the movie resonates with the famous Indian festival of Dasara or Dushera, it is evident that this first single will be released on the day of the festival, i.e. 5 October 2022. The 45 seconds long clip Through a short video on Instagram, Nani announced that this first single of Dasara will be the massiest, local street song ever. The music and background score of Dasara is being composed by Santosh Narayan. 

Dasara will see Nani flaunting the Telangana slang of Telugu for the first time ever. The lead actor has described the movie to be a ‘pure, raw, rustic and adrenaline-rush of a movie.’ The cast of this upcoming movie also includes Prakash Raj, Samuthirakani, Rajendra Prasad, Zarina Wahab and others in pivotal roles.
