Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu emerged to be a successful film at the box office and it has turned out to be a profitable venture for the producer, distributors, and everyone else who was involved in the business. The success party took place recently in Chennai and pictures and videos from the event turned viral on social media. Producer Ishari K Ganesh gifted Silambarasan TR a luxurious Toyota Vellfire car on the success of the film and similarly, director Gautham Vasudev Menon was also gifted a Royal Enfield bike.

A.R.Rahman's musical score was one of the biggest highlights of the movie and the legendary composer uplifted the movie with his effective work. That being said, the makers have now released the rap song that featured in the movie as a bonus song, taking the fans and film buffs by surprise. The song, which is called 'Porattam' is a riveting rap number composed by A.R.Rahman and performed by Neeraj Madhav who also played the significant character - Sreedharan in the movie. 'Porattam' is a song that pumps up your mood instantly and the track elevated the intermission fight sequence in an impactful manner, making the song an instantly enjoyable one.

Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu follows the story of Muthu, an innocent youth hailing from a remote village in Tamil Nadu, who goes on to become the dreaded gangster of the underground world of Mumbai. The film is based on a short story written by Jeyamohan, while the screenplay and dialogues were worked together by Gautham Menon and Jeyamohan. Siddhi Idnani featured as the female lead, while the supporting cast included the likes of Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, Jaffer Sadik, and others. The second part of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is on cards and the pre production works for the same has already started. If things go as per plan, VTK 2 will go on floors early next year.
