Bobby to Shriya's rescue

Shriya Saran, the girl from Haridwar who stole millions of hearts after the release of Sivaji starring Rajinikanth, is all set to return to Kollywood. Fanseagerly await the release of Kanthaswamy starring Shriya-Vikram and directed by Susi Ganesan. But sheis not the kind who is happy to rest on her laurels as she continues to make waves in Bollywood too. In her forthcoming flick Ek - The Power of One starring Bobby Deol and Nana Patekar and directed by Sangeeth Sivan, Shriya plays a Punjabi girl.

When asked how she found Bobby Deol as a co-star, Shriya described him as the most chilled-out actor she has ever seen, one who remains unruffled even in toughest of situations;in fact it was Bobby who helped a lot with her Punjabi accent and dialogues. Shriya has a string of films lined up for 2009 and is eagerly looking forward to the release of Deepa Mehta's What's cooking, Stella? for which shooting has been proceeding at a hectic pace. The shooting for Komagata Maruwill alsostart shortly.
