A month has passed since Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 began airing on Vijay TV and streaming on Hotstar, with the hit reality show once again witnessing record viewership. 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan is hosting once again after three consecutive seasons as Rekha Harris and singer Velmurugan have so far been the two contestants to be eliminated from the show. The remaining contestants at present in the Bigg Boss 4 house include Ramya Pandian, Rio Raj, Shivani Narayanan, Samyuktha Karthik, Gabriella, Aajeedh, Balaji Murugadoss, Som Shekhar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Aranthangi Nisha, Anitha Sampath, Sanam Shetty, Jithan Ramesh, Aari, singer Velmurugan and the wildcard entries VJ Archana Chandhoke and singer Suchitra. 

In the third promo for Wednesday, we see Samyuktha Karthik getting a major surprise as the TV screen in the Bigg Boss 4 house suddenly begins showing her son Rayan Karthik's birthday celebrations. We see Samyuktha getting surprised and then bursting into tears of joy at seeing her son for the first time since she entered the Bigg Boss 4 house. The promo is a highly emotional one as it has Samyuktha watching her son, mother and other family members with Rayan sending her his special wishes. All Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 contestants too are surprised and rush to support and console Samyuktha who is seen breaking down in tears uncontrollably, showing how much she is missing her family while being away from them. 

Samyuktha Karthik has been one of the breakout stars on Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 as the model turned actress has since her entry on the show gone on to become highly popular and a household name across Tamil Nadu. A Miss Chennai 2007 winner, she has been one of the few contestants who has voiced out her opinions in a straightforward manner, thereby garnering her a huge fan following. With more than a month into the show now, Samyuktha is already being billed to be a top contender to become the Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 winner.
