Atharvaa's Trigger is set for its theatrical release in September and the film will be presented by Raahul of Romeo Pictures, the co-producers of films like Ajith Kumar's Valimai and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Nenjuku Needhi. The film is currently in the final stages of post production and a formal announcement on the release date is yet to be made. Trigger is directed by Sam Anton who is known for directing films like Darling and Enakku Innoru Per Irukku and this is his second outing with Atharvaa after 100. Earlier today (August 11), the official teaser of Trigger was unveiled and it looks promising.

The teaser gives us a gist of what the film is dealing with and it looks like a super stylish action flick is loading. 20 children from the city are kidnapped by unidentified men and Atharvaa is at the helm to resolve the mystery and rescue the kids. However, there is also a father-son sentiment angle at the backend and that is going to be core emotion of the film. Atharvaa looks smart and fits the bill. The staging looks impressive and the shots have been neatly executed. The teaser has also opened to a positive response from the film buffs.

Produced by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa under the banner of Pramod Films, the film has music composed by Ghibran while the cinematography and editing departments are taken care of by Krishnan Vasant and Ruben respectively. Irumbu Thirai and Hero director PS Mithran has penned the dialogues of the film and Dhilip Subbarayan has taken care of the stunt choreography. Trigger features Tanya Ravichandran of Karuppan and Nenjuku Needhi fame as the female lead, while veteran actor Arun Pandian, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, and others would be seen in important roles. Atharvaa was last seen in Kuruthi Aattam which opened to mixed reviews from the audiences.
