Ashok Selvan is a popular actor who has acted in many hit films and his recent thriller with Sarath Kumar titled Por Thozhil is running successfully in theatres. It was welcomed with positive reviews from fans and movie buffs. Galatta Media, known for organising awe-inspiring events, organised a fans festival for the actor in celebration of his 10 years milestone in the industry. In a special session directors, Ashwath Marimuthu and Vignesh Raja who has delivered blockbuster hit films with Ashok Selvan appeared in the event and shared what they experienced while making the hit debut films Oh My Kadavule and Por Thozhil.
Director Vignesh Raja revealed that they have known each other for a long time and that Ashok Selvan said when he first got the offer for Soodhu Kavvum, he said ‘It's not a hero role, but I think it will work” and that intuition worked for him. The director said he and Ashwath Marimuthu then watched Thegidi together and thought it would go big. Oh My Kadavule director Ashwath Marimuthu then said that before the release of Por Thozil, he had an intuition that it will work well just like Oh My Kadavule. The director then said that more debut directors will be introduced by Ashok Selvan. The director Ashwath then said that he saw on social media that "Ashok Selvan is one of the heroes who selects the best script." To which the actor replied as they are terrific writers and so, nothing can go wrong. Por Thozhil's director then revealed an exacting information that “In the next 10 years, You will also see him as a director”.
This exciting information has come as a surprise to fans as they have only known the acting side of Ashok Selvan. The actor has delivered many hit films including Thegidi, and Oh My Kadavule and his recent hit films were Nitham Oru Vaanam and Por Thozhil. The actor also has an exciting line-up of upcoming films, including Blue Star and Saba Nayagan.
