Leading music composer Anirudh Ravichander is the highest streamed artist of the year so far and this result has been arrived at, after the collective data from the leading audio streaming platforms. Yes! Anirudh's tracks have been the most streamed ones on popular audio platforms and on that account, popular music label, Sony Music, presented a special memento to Anirudh Ravichander. The news was confirmed by Sony Music, who in an official tweet, wrote, "Celebrating the highest -streamed artist @anirudhofficial for the year! 🔥 Thank you for the music through the decade! Cheers to more 🥁 🎶 @sonymusicindia @KakarOnline @twit2sumit @ashokparwani #KaathuvaakulaRenduKaadhal #Don #Vikram".

This award has been presented to Anirudh for his songs and OST in his last three films - Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Don, and Vikram. Anirudh's music played a vital role in elevating all these three films and interestingly, all of them were blockbuster hits at the box office. Among the three, Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, turned out to be a humongous hit with record breaking collections. It broke all the existing records of Tamil cinema and took the box office by storm. Anirudh delivered a blockbuster album in which all of the songs turned out to be big hits and his background score also added vital support.

The star composer has multiple interesting projects in his pipeline and all of them are in various stages of production. Anirudh will be scoring music for Ajith Kumar's upcoming film, AK 62 which will be helmed by Vignesh Shivan, under the production of Lyca Productions. Anirudh will also be doing music for Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer which will be helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming action thriller Jawan, directed by Atlee, Thalapathy Vijay's Thalapathy 67, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 are the other projects in Anirudh's pipeline.
