Allu Arjun has issued his first statement after being announced as the first Telugu artiste to win the Best Actor National Award for his powerful performance in Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 on Friday, August 25. The leading Telugu actor took to social media to convey his congratulations to all the winners of the national honor in arts and entertainment that were announced at the National Media Center in New Delhi yesterday. Allu Arjun posted on X, "A huge congratulations to all the national award winners across various categories and languages throughout the nation. Your accomplishments are truly commendable .  & I would like to express my gratitude for the love and wishes pouring in from all corners of the country. Feeling honored and humbled by it all. Thank you for the love . Humbled 🙏🏽" (sic)

Congratulatory messages are pouring in for Allu Arjun from all quarters as leading celebrities from cinema and personalities across all walks of life have been sharing their hearty wishes to the Telugu superstar. Currently busy with the shooting of Pushpa 2: The Rule, the actor's performance in the first installment directed by Sukumar went on to be received with a staggering response across the country. Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner in association with Muttamsetty Media was also released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, and went on to become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021, and ranks among the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. 

Allu Arjun was joined by composer Devi Sri Prasad, who bagged the Best Music Direction National Award for his work in Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1, and is the next big accolade after the action drama film's album became the first in Indian cinema to hit 5 billion views. With Allu Arjun and Devi Sri Prasad coming out with flying colors at the 69th National Film Awards, the duo will be super-charged to continue with their work ahead in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is expected to come out in theatres in early 2024.
