Ajith Kumar is currently in Bangkok, Thailand, filming Thunivu, which marks his third-time reunion with director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor after their Nerkonda Paarvai (2019) and Valimai (2022). The upcoming film will see the actor sharing screen space with Malayalam actress and Asuran fame Manju Warrier alongside a supporting cast featuring the likes of Pavni Reddy, Amir, and Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, for whom it will be his next big role after starring in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master and Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan. Being produced by Bayview Projects LLP in association with Zee Studios, Thunivu, which has composer Ghibran scoring music and songs for an Ajith film for the first time, is nearing the end of production and is gearing up for a huge theatrical release either towards the end of this year or early 2023.
