Shah Rukh Khan dropped a big update on Jawan informing fans that a major leg of filming has been wrapped up while thanking the upcoming film's team, including Tamil actors Rajinikanth and Vijay. The Bollywood superstar took to social media late Friday evening, October 7, and extended his gratitude to his team at Red Chillies Entertainment, followed by co-stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, director Atlee and his wife Priya, composer Anirudh Ravichander, and Tamil cinema's 'Superstar' and 'Thalapathy'. SRK tweeted, "Wot a 30 days blast RCE team! Thalaivar blessed our sets…saw movie with Nayanthara partied with @anirudhofficial deep discussions with @VijaySethuOffl & Thalapathy @actorvijay fed me delicious food. This latest tweet by Shah Rukh Khan has no doubt taken social media by storm as fans have been given a new insight into the progress of Jawan, which has been filming in Chennai for a month. It is to be noted that both Rajinikanth's Jailer and Vijay's Varisu were also being shot at the same location as Jawan being directed by Atlee, which has Nayanthara playing the female lead, followed by Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist and Anirudh as the music director. Last month, a photo of Shah Rukh Khan’s meeting with Vijay and Atlee had been released on social media by the filmmaker, which became the talk of the nation, with fans now looking forward to witnessing a new glimpse next of the Jawan schedule wrap celebrations. 

Jawan will begin rolling out in theatres worldwide from June 2, 2023, and also have a pan-Indian release across 5 languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Billed to be an action thriller, the film is expected to show 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan in a completely new dimension, with the film's teaser released a few months back receiving a huge response. As for 'Superstar' Rajinikanth, the iconic actor is currently filming Jailer being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures production banner, while 'Thalapathy' Vijay is set to finish shooting his Varisu with filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally for producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations.
