Two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush is a mighty busy man as he is attached to a number of high profile projects, including the upcoming Hollywood film, The Gray Man, being directed by the Avengers: Endgame director duo, The Russo brothers, which also has superstars namely Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles. A Netflix production, the film is touted to be an action thriller and is an adaptation of Mark Greaney's debut novel, with the author not long back informing fans that Dhanush is likely playing the role of a head of one of the teams that is after Ryan Gosling, who has been cast in the role of Court Gentry, a former CIA operative turned freelance assassin. 

As production on The Gray Man has been steadily progressing forward for more than two months in the US, the team has now shifted to begin their next schedule at Palma De Mallorca in Spain. That said, it has now been revealed that Indian actress Aishwarya Sonar is also a part of The Gray Man, with the up-and-coming talent in a recent interview revealing that she has finished filming her portions in the film. Aishwarya has said that the casting took place during quarantine, with the process taking nearly 6 months. She also stated that she was requested to make a self tape during her audition process, but declined to share any further details about her role or the film owing to the stipulations in the contract.

Aishwarya Sonar's past acting credits include an appearance in the Marathi comedy film, Kaay Re Rascalaa, a production venture of  Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Madhu Chopra and was directed by Giridharan Swamy. She has also worked as an assistant director in director Rajesh Mapuskar's National Award-winning film, Ventilator. Netflix's The Gray Man starring Captain America star Chris Evans, Blade Runner 2049's Ryan Gosling, Dhanush and Aishwarya Sonar also includes a talented supporting cast featuring names like Wagner Moura, Julia Butters and Jessica Henwick among others, with the production budget set at approximately $200 million.
