Popular Malayalam actor and comedian Innocent is contesting from Chalakudy Lok Sabha constituency as a CPM candidate. Known for his down to earth attitide, he surprised everyone today when he called on to enquire the health of his rival Benny Behanan who was admitted to a hospital following a heart attack.

Innocent shared on his Facebook profile that he met Benny's relatives and friends and enquired about his rival's health. The actor also wished his rival to get well soon. "Glad to hear that Benny has recovered now. I wish a speedy revovery for him so that he can be active again in the election campaign," said the actor.

Benny had to undergo heart surgery following heart attack on Saturday. He recovered but currently kept under obersarvation for next 48 hours.
