Aadu Puli is essentially a family entertainer with elements of action and romance. The movie revolves around a happy family comprising a young boy, his parents and his grandparents. Life gets better when he falls in love with a charming girl whom his family gladly welcomes. However, with romance comes a subtle sense of strain on the happiness of this cheerful family. The source of this discomfort is at first unknown but once our hero figures out who is trying disrupt the calm of his family, he finds his own shrewd way to get back at the baddie.
