The much-awaited trailer for the Venom sequel, titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage, has been officially released by Sony Pictures. And, we can say from the looks of it that it will be nothing short of an electrifying watch when it arrives in theatres as we see Tom Hardy reprising his role as Eddie Brock / Venom, while also getting the first glimpse at Woody Harrelson's Carnage. Tom Hardy as a half human and the half symbiote character looks comfortable from the get go, with the Venom: Let There Be Carnage trailer showing us the friendly dynamic between him and Venom.

The Venom 2 trailer also shows us a wild-looking Woody Harrelson tied to a hospital bed, whilst waiting to reveal his darker self, Carnage, with the rest of the footage giving us plenty of pulsating action between the two Marvel powerhouse characters. Apart from Hardy and Harrelson, the highly-anticipated film's cast also includes Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Stephen Graham in pivotal roles and has been directed by acclaimed actor-filmmaker Andy Serkis. Initially, Woody Harrelson as Carnage was teased in a post-credits scene in the first film, released in 2018, which despite poor reviews from many critics, went on to become a colossal box office blockbuster, grossing over $850 million worldwide.

Speaking about Venom: Let There Be Carnage to CinemaBlend earlier, Serkis told, "We’re 40 days into the shoot and it’s really thrilling. We’ve got the magnificent Tom Hardy, who’s obviously at the center of it, and we sort of see a deepening of the relationship between him and obviously there’s a nemesis character and… that’s all I can say." As of now, no theatrical release date has been announced for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which we can expect in the days ahead. Watch the exciting Venom: Let There Be Carnage trailer below:
