Venkat Prabhu's debut directorial, Chennai: 600028 recently celebrated its thirteenth year release anniversary and VP shared some sweet throwback incidents. The film which talked about cricket, friendship, and love, turned out to be a big hit at the box office and it took the trade experts by surprise. The film featured a bunch of youngsters as the leads and it gave the breakthrough for actors like Mirchi Shiva, Jai, Nithin Sathya, Aravind Akash, Vijayalakshmi, and others. The Tamil audience have a special affection towards the ‘Sharks’ team and it would forever stay the same.

The sequel of the film, Chennai: 600028 II Innings also fetched a very good response among the audience and it was a box office success. Venkat Prabhu maintained the vibe throughout the film and had some nostalgic connections in the second part and it worked really well among the fans. Recently, in a small interaction with Lakshmi Narayanan, (High Performance Analyst of Chennai Super Kings team), Venkat Prabhu answered if there's a possibility to have a third part to the film. VP said, "Thank q saar!!! Haven’t planned yet!!! If all goes well!!! 😊".

Well, if Venkat Prabhu goes ahead and plans to do the third part to the much celebrated franchise, it is surely going to be an exciting treat for the fans. With the Visalakshi Thottam boys coming together for the third time, we can be assured of the fun and entertainment that the film will offer.
