Santhanam is a part of various interesting projects and one among those happens to be Biskoth, directed by R Kannan of Jayam Kondan and Ivan Thanthiran fame. The first look poster which released a few months back, created a very good buzz on social media and it featured Santhanam in a vintage retro look. It created a curiosity among the fans. The film, which was supposed to hit the screens this April, has now been postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic situation and shutdown of theatres.

Recently, Tamil Nadu Government permitted the Tamil film industry to resume post production works in studios, but with certain restrictions. Following the guidelines proposed by the Government, majority of the edit suites, dubbing studios, and music studios have resumed work. On that note, Biskoth's director Kannan shared an update on his Twitter page, revealing the latest progress of the film. He said that the final trimming for Biskoth is on progress right now and he would get the final copy ready by the end of this month.

He posted, "Final trimming for @iamsanthanam biskoth..with my editor Rk selva .month end final copy reddy 😊👍 @masalapixweb @mkrpproductions @johnsoncinepro". Produced by Kannan's Masala Pix, Biskoth features A1 fame Tara Alisha Berry as the female lead. Yesteryear actress Sowcar Janaki will play a crucial role in this film and interestingly, Biskoth will be her 400th film as an actor. The film has music scored by Radhan and cinematography by Shanmuga Sundaram. Check out Kannan's tweet below:
