'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master continues to be the talk of the town after it kicked off celebrations for Tamil cinema fans and theatre owners around the state, who have seen business once again flourish in their cinema halls due to the staggering success of the film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the casting of 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist in Master turned out to be a masterstroke as his fiery performance alongside an electrifying Vijay in the mass masala action entertainer has fans still raving about the film.

With Master currently also streaming on Amazon Prime Video, many Tamil celebrities have watched the film, with Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 sensation Suchitra sharing a video of Vijay and captioning it "Thalapathyyyyy cutemax". She also shared the 'Vaathi Coming' video song on her Instagram story and wrote, "Koncham weight potaalum Singam Singam dhan le". When translated, Suchi's comment refers to saying, "Even though he has put on some weight, a lion is either ways a lion." These comments from Suchitra about Vijay in Master have taken social media by storm as the singer had previously sung notable chart-buster hit songs like 'Dol Dol' in Pokkiri and 'Oru Chinna Thaamarai' in Vettaikaran to name a few.

Suchitra entered Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 as one among the two wildcard entrants and was expected to make a splash, but failed to create an impact as she didn't succeed in her gameplay and eventually was eliminated from the show after nearly three weeks. Post Bigg Boss, Suchi's name was mired in controversy after she made comments against the show and the host actor-politician 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan. Suchi, who has been active on her Instagram page since her exit from Bigg Boss, also has a YouTube channel named Suchislife.

Coming back to Master, the film produced by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators banner and distributed by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio also includes music by Anirudh Ravichander, whose songs have turned out to be trendsetting chart-busters. Despite its OTT release, the film has witnessed a strong audience turnout in theatres, with many cinema hall owners sharing the news on social media. Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi's combined star power has elevated Master to great heights, with fans catching it again on repeat viewing in theatres and on Amazon Prime Video.
