'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master released worldwide as a grand Pongal treat last month has turned out to be an earth-shattering box office success and is now the first big blockbuster of 2021. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the mass masala action entertainer also starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist has been produced by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators in association with Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios banner and featured chart-buster music by Anirudh Ravichander. Among the many highlights in Master were the film's songs, with the romantic 'Andha Kanna Paathaakaa' track garnering a huge feedback from fans since it had come out in March last year. 

Master, which is still successfully running in theatres, while also currently being streamed on Amazon Prime Video, continues to be debated by fans on social media for its story, performances, music and other technical aspects. With the film now out and watched by almost all and on a repeat basis, the makers have released the 'Andha Kanna Paathaakaa' video song on YouTube ahead of Valentine's Day on Sunday. The upbeat-techno peppy love track featuring vocals by celebrated composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and lyrics penned by Vignesh Shivan has turned out to be a huge hit and showed the blossoming romance in Master between Vijay and the film's female lead Malavika Mohanan. 

'Andha Kanna Paathaakaa' also marks the first time in many years that Yuvan had worked on a Vijay film, with the news of him coming on board last year to croon the song in Master being welcomed by all in a grand manner. Fans have for many years wanted Yuvan to collaborate with Vijay for a film, especially after the two last worked together in the 2003 hit Puthiya Geethai, which included several chart-busters. Although there has been no film since then where Yuvan and Vijay worked together, fans have been happy with the composer contributing his vocals for the superstar in Master. 

Master has turned out to be a massive success not only for the makers and the entire team, but also the theatre owners, who have breathed a big sigh of relief. The combined star power of Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi and their electrifying performances have elevated the film to great heights and has turned out to be a perfect theatre celebration venture, with videos of fans enjoying the film on opening day still being watched by many on YouTube and other social networking forums.
