Director Atlee is set to present the first visuals of his upcoming film, Bigil, starring ‘Thalapathy’ VIjay making it his third-time association after their previous blockbusters, Theri and Mersal. The hit director will be looking to go one step beyond the successes of his previous two films with Bigil, which is gearing up for a thunderous Diwali release. With post-production works on the upcoming sports action drama nearing the finish line, Atlee engaged in a conversation on Twitter with veteran Hollywood actor, producer, writer and director Bill Duke, who is primarily known for his starring in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Predator and Commando while also appearing in Nicholas Cage’s critically-acclaimed 2018 action-horror venture titled Mandy. During their interaction, Atlee expressed his views to Bill Duke on why India and the US could not produce films together saying it is just a mere notion to call it as being difficult while thanking him for addressing him. Murugadoss, Aishwarya Dhanush and Vamshi Paidipally. As for Atlee’s Bigil, the film has created a huge buzz in the trade as well as among fans, who are waiting with bated breath to witness ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay in dual roles and also as the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team. The film is a multi-starrer produced by AGS Entertainment with music by Oscar winner A. R. Rahman and also includes includes Nayanthara as the female lead opposite Vijay after their Villu in 2009 followed by Kathir, Vivek, Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Iyer, Soundararaja, Gayathri Reddy, Devadarshini, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji, Dheena among others in major supporting roles.
