An upcoming project that has been generating massive interest among fans right from the moment of its announcement, the Netflix anthology, Navarasa, being produced by Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies, has several leading names attached among whom include Suriya, 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, director Gautham Menon and so on. Navarasa will comprise of 9 stories with each story depicting each rasa and one among them has Suriya and Gautham Menon joining hands once again after Vaaranam Aayiram, which came out more than a decade ago. In that light, leading cinematographer PC Sreeram who is a part of the Suriya and Gautham Menon segment, has been sharing pictures from the sets of the project, including dropping an announcement on Thursday night saying Navarasa will be premiering on Netflix in August 2021. 

Navarasa is one of the most-awaited ventures in recent times, with the segment featuring Suriya seeing him paired opposite actress Prayaga Martin and music being composed by singer Karthik. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Thulasi of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum fame too will be seen in an important role in the film after a picture of Gautham Menon explaining a scene to the actress went viral sometime back. There are massive expectations among fans for Navarasa as it has the successful combo of Suriya and Gautham Menon collaborating after a long time after their previous blockbuster successes like Kaakha Kaakha and Vaaranam Aayiram. 

Apart from Suriya, some other leading names in Navarasa include Vijay Sethupathi, Siddharth, Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Saravanan, Azhagam Perumal, Prasanna, Vikranth, Bobby Simha, Gautham Karthik, Ashok Selvan, Robo Shankar, Ramesh Thilak, Sananth, Revathy, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Riythvika, Poorna among others.
