Director Nelson Dilipkumar who is currently helming the highly anticipated Vijay starrer, Thalapathy 65, is celebrating his birthday today (June 21) and wishes have been pouring in from all the quarters for the talented filmmaker. The first look poster of Thalapathy 65 will also be unveiled this evening at 6 PM. Meanwhile, actor Sivakarthikeyan took to his official Twitter space to post pictures from director Nelson's birthday celebration. It looks like Sivakarthikeyan met director Nelson at his house and surprised him with a cake. The pictures are now going viral on social media and it has garnered the attention of the netizens. SK also wished Nelson to deliver more and more blockbuster films in the coming years.

Sharing the pictures on his Twitter page, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "Wish you a very happy birthday @Nelsondilpkumar na aahaaa neenga cake Vetta unga magan kai thatta arumai nae.. idhae pola pala varudangal happy a irundhu pala blockbusters kudukkanum #HappyBirthdayNelson". Director Nelson and Sivakarthikeyan share a very good rapport and they have been close friends for more than 10 years. Nelson directed Sivakarthikeyan's shows during his television days and those shows were a big hit among the household audience.

Nelson is a mentor figure for Sivakarthikeyan and SK's latest birthday wish post is a sweet reflection of the same. Nelson and SK have worked together on Doctor which is fully complete and ready for release. The film features Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, while the star cast also includes the likes of Yogi Babu, Vinay, Archana, Dheepa, Arun Alexander, Redin Kingsley, and others. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander who has already delivered three chartbuster singles - 'Chellamma', 'Nenjame', and 'So Baby'.
