Interesting update on Raghava Lawrence's Rudhran - first glimpse released!

The first schedule shoot of Raghava Lawrence's next film, Rudhran, has been successfully wrapped up. The film's writer, KP Thirumaaran took to his official Facebook page to share the update and thank Raghava Lawrence for backing his vision. Rudhran was officially launched with a special pooja last month and the shooting has been happening since then. The first schedule has now come to an end and it is said that the makers shot several important scenes in this schedule. Writer KP Thirumaaran, who has written the film's story, screenplay, and dialogues, thanked the entire team of Rudhran for the support.

KP Thirumaaran's official Facebook post read, "First time, when I narrated the script to Master (Raghava Lawrence) it was an wonderful experience for me and it has been the same even till now !! Would like to thank him for believing me and the script!! Coz writing screenplay for big star is not a easy task but he comfort me in many way!! Feeling proud & lucky to work with one of the multi talent person of Indian cinema!! With God's grace, we've completed our 1st schedule !! Thanks to my producer kathiresan sir for giving me this opportunity and happy to work with priya bhavani shankar mam!! Sarath kumar sir, nasar sir, poornima mam!! DOP R.D. Rajasekar sir, G.V. Rudhran boasts of some big names in both the star cast and the technical team and it is going to be exciting to see how the film shapes up. The young and happening Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead and this is her first film with Raghava Lawrence. Supreme Star Sarath Kumar, Nassar, and Poornima Bhagyaraj will be seen in supporting roles. GV Prakash Kumar, who is in great form as a music director, will be composing the songs and background score for Rudhran. RD Rajasekhar and Anthony take care of the cinematography and editing departments respectively. The film is produced by S Kathiresan of 5 Star Creations LLP, known for bankrolling movies like Pollathavan, Aadukalam, Jigarthanda, and more.

Interestingly, Kathiresan will also be making his directorial debut with this film. The second schedule of Rudhran has also been planned in Chennai and it will begin very soon.
