Earlier it was announced that director Gautham Vasudev Menon and cinematographer PC Sreeram would be teaming up for a web-series produced by Amazon Prime and the shooting for the same would take place soon after the lockdown is relaxed. The news of which was revealed by PC Sreeram himself on Twitter earlier in the month of June. PC Sreeram posted, “My next project after the lockdown is over will be with Gautham Menon for a web series. It’s for Amazon. Waiting to start work after a long gap due to this corona. Gautham Menon is already a pro when it comes to making projects for OTT. His very first venture for OTT happens to be Queen funded by MX Player. The show was inspired from the life story of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. It was a runaway hit and the makers are planning to shoot the second season soon. Gautham Menon is also onboard for a Netflix anthology with the likes of Vetri Maaran, Vignesh ShivN and other directors. The filmmaker, who released the short film Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn and a music video recently, has films like Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha and Dhruva Natchathiram in the pipeline and a couple of other projects too. PC Sreeram was last part of Mysskin's Psycho but he later announced that his assistant Tanvir Mir would take over the project as the cinematographer.

PC Sreeram during a recent interaction with the press had a few words to say about this interesting project - “I am not allowed to reveal anything as of now. Since there is so much negativity out there, I thought I will share something constructive. Hopefully, once the lockdown is over and when the government gives permission to shooting, we might start it. Not just filmmakers, the whole world is going to be starting a new life after this. I am trying to stay optimistic." Now it looks like this project has officially kick-started very recently. We are not sure when exactly, the shooting for this web-series started but a couple of photos from the shooting spot have been circulating for the past few days. Now PC Sreeram has shared a photo with Gautham Menon on Twitter with the text - “A delight to work with GVM. Sharing on location working still.”
