The entire cinema industry in India has come to a standstill with no shoot happening across the country. The technicians who work on different aspects of Cinema, will be the most affected by the lockdown, as they earn their income from the daily shoots. With all shooting being cancelled till March 31st, the members of Kollywood's FEFSI union have no source of income and taking this into consideration, many top stars have started coming out and making donations for them! Earlier today, veteran actor Sivakumar, his sons Suriya & Karthi and their family donated Rs. 10 Lakhs towards the welfare of the FEFSI workers.

This is a very heartwarming gesture by these stars and if more stars pitch in with contributions, it would go a long way in reducing the suffering of the FEFSI employees and their families.
