Parthiban, Jagan, Manobala & Roshan donate for FEFSI workers!
The entire cinema industry in India has come to a standstill with no shoot happening across the country. The technicians who work on different aspects of Cinema, will be the most affected by the lockdown, as they earn their income from the daily shoots. With all shooting being cancelled till March 31st, the members of Kollywood's FEFSI union have no source of income and taking this into consideration, many top stars have started coming out and making donations for them! Earlier today, veteran actor Sivakumar, his sons Suriya & Karthi and their family donated Rs. 10 Lakhs towards the welfare of the FEFSI workers.
Later today, Prince Sivakarthikeyan also donated Rs. 10 Lakhs for the FEFSI members and now, it has come to light that many other stars are also doing their part to help the FEFSI employees. R Parthiban is said to have donated 250 kgs of rice as 25 Kg bags, for the families of the FEFSI employees. Comedy and character artiste Jagan is said to have donated Rs. 5000 and actor Roshan of Genius fame is said to have contributed Rs. 17,000! Veteran actor Manobala is also said to have donated rice bags for the families of the FEFSI employees!
This is a very heartwarming gesture by these stars and if more stars pitch in with contributions, it would go a long way in reducing the suffering of the FEFSI employees and their families. Almost our entire country and state have gone into lockdown mode with the Tamil Nadu government announcing the implementation of Section 144, from tomorrow evening. All district borders are going to be closed and people are being advised to stay at home and avoid the spreading of the corona virus!
