Popular RJ turned actor Mirchi Shiva has garnered a big following for his quick quips and sense of humor over the years, while also starring in the Chennai 600028 films, Saroja, Vanakkam Chennai, including the Kalakalappu franchise and the Thamizh Padam movies. Last seen on the big screen in 2018 in the smash hit, Thamizh Padam 2, Shiva is currently awaiting the release of Idiot, Sumo and the long-delayed Venkat Prabhu heist comedy Party, while also recently wrapping up shooting on the Kasethan Kadavulada remake and is next attached to appear alongside Yogi Babu in Saloon. Among the upcoming films, Mirchi Shiva's Idiot has now been officially confirmed to come out in theatres later this month.

Directed by Dhilluku Dhuddu fame Rambhala under the Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd banner, Idiot starring Mirchi Shiva in the lead role has him paired opposite youth sensation Nikki Galrani. Taking to social media, the makers on Friday dropped the announcement informing fans that the upcoming horror comedy film is all set for a September release. Announced for a release across Tamil Nadu by 7G Films, Idiot had a trailer released a few months back, which raised plenty of curiosity among fans, with many expressing their hope for Rambhala to deliver yet another fun theatrical product on the lines of his Dhilluku Dhuddu films and this time with Mirchi Shiva.

As of now, no release date has been announced for Mirchi Shiva's Idiot and we can expect another update regarding it from the makers in the coming days. Several films have been announced for a big screen release this month and the Idiot team will be looking to land the right date to enjoy a good and long theatrical run.
