Thalapathy Vijay’s Master is easily one of the most anticipated films of this year that has got humongous expectations from fans and ardent film buffs. The film’s songs, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, are a huge hit and the young rockstar has delivered yet another blockbuster album. The songs in the album have been penned by lyricists Vignesh Shivan, Arunraja Kamaraj, Arivu, Kaka Balachander and Vishnu Edavan. Among the five, Vishnu Edavan, who also happens to be one of the associate directors of the film, has penned two songs in the film.

He is the writer behind the songs, ‘Polakattum Para Para’ and ‘Pona Pogattum’. Being a part of such a big film as a lyricist, that too, along with handling responsibilities of an associate director, is no easy feat and Vishnu seems to have realised it. An emotionally moved Vishnu shared a note on his Instagram space about getting to work with two musicians, Anirudh and Santhosh Narayanan for the ‘Polakattum Para Para’ song. He posted, “If someone had told my 18 year old that i would be sitting in between these two artists and be working with em , my 18 year old wouldn't have believed it..

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kaithi and Maanagaram fame, Master was initially scheduled to hit the screens on April 9, but has now been postponed to a later date due to the coronavirus pandemic. Let us wait for the situation to get back to normalcy so that we can witness Vaathi’s raid in the big screens soon. Check out Vishnu Edavan’s Instagram post below:
